Our Spring 2010 production now be performed in the Autumn. 'ANNIE', and will be performed at the new venue of SHILDON CIVIC HALL. Dates have changed to Monday 18th - Saturday 23rd October 2010 at 7:15pm

NEWS FLASH **********************************
Our next production, 'Annie', previously scheduled for Monday 15th to Saturday 20th March 2010, has been postponed until the 18th - 23rd October 2010.
Our autumn production of 'Fiddler On The Roof', previously scheduled for those dates in October, will now be performed at a time to be confirmed in 2011.
'Annie' will continue to be performed at the Shildon Civic Hall as previously advertised. The society apologises for any inconvenience caused.
About the Society
The society produces two shows each year, in the Spring and Autumn. For 2010 we will be transferring our performances to the newly refurbished Shildon Civic Hall. We rehearse every Thursday at 7:30pm in Shildon Methodist Church Hall. On this website you can view pictures of our previous productions, find out how to buy tickets or apply to become a member.
Our musical theatre productions
Bishop Auckland Operatic Society has been performing musical theatre in Bishop Auckland for over 60 years! However, despite the long history, we are a forward looking theatre group. We welcome new members of all ages to perform in everything from light opera to modern West End and Broadway musicals.
